Solar Bug

Build a mechanical solar bug that comes to life when the sun shines on his back.

Build your own solar powered bug, and educate your child about renewable energy and the function of gears. Pop out the plastic parts and clip them together following the instructions. When the sun shines on your bugs back watch him come to life!

Any daylight should work as a power source. On a particularly cloudy day just place on a windowsill or in a conservatory.
